Even in a landscape rapidly transformed by AI,
great software is made by humans.

We help you find, train, manage and retain them.

Our Philosophy

In an era obsessed with automation and optimization, we believe the most powerful software is still made by people who care. We’re passionate about using AI to augment human creativity, not erase it. That means building with discipline, passion, craft and empathy.

Whether we’re developing AI-enhanced products, building immersive virtual experiences or consulting with mission-driven organizations, our goal is always the same: to empower agency, foster delight, and help people do more of what they love.

We don’t believe in generic. We believe in specificity. Because we’ve seen how the most tailored solutions—crafted thoughtfully and with care—can unlock universal impact.

We’re technologists, yes. But we’re also writers, designers, builders, and makers. We believe software should feel like a well-made instrument—powerful, intuitive, and a pleasure to use.

Consulting Services

Organizational Transformation

Software is made by people, for people. We help organizations rethink the way they build, structure, and collaborate—infusing creativity, clarity, and agility into your daily operation - and your company culture.

Human-Centered Development

Engineering without a clear product vision is just noodling around. Whether you’re exploring your first machine learning initiative or reimagining how AI fits into your product or workflow, we bring a thoughtful, human-centered approach to every engagement.

Product & Software Architecture

We work with product and engineering teams to create software that is scalable, maintainable, and—above all—usable. From backend architecture to user interface audits, we combine modern tooling with timeless design principles.

Project & Program Management

Trying to get a handle on a project that has succumbed to scope creep, inefficient vendor management or bad technical design? Allow us to help you identify the people, processes and milestones to make your project a success.

Jeff Glasse

Founder

Jeff Glasse is a seasoned product engineering leader who has been innovating in the world of software development for more than two decades. He has had several successful exits, both from companies he himself founded, and as an early-stage engineering leader. His 360-degree camera, Dot, was sold in every Apple Store in the world from 2012-2014. During this time he was named “one of the top 12 tech innovators to watch” by the New York Observer.

Jeff  holds several software, hardware and design patents, has taught graduate level courses in interactive design at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and was a regular contributor to  MacWeek, MacWorld, and eMedia Weekly magazines.

Most recently, Mr. Glasse was the Director of Engineering, Core Experience at Tinder, where he led the teams responsible for features including the webby-award winning Swipe Night and The Game Game (which was produced in collaboration with Open AI), as well as leading the effort to fundamentally restructure the post-match experience on the Tinder app.

Jeff is an avid sailor and chef.

Aimee Bower

Principal Consultant, Data & Simulation

With over 25 years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and simulation, Aimee Bower brings a rare blend of technical depth and creative problem-solving to Human Code’s consulting practice. Her superpower is making sense of complex, messy data—and turning it into actionable insight for clients navigating ambiguity.

Aimee is a seasoned data wrangler, adept at sourcing, cleaning, and normalizing information from a wide variety of formats and systems. Her analytic toolbelt includes everything from SAS and SQL to modern scripting and visualization platforms, and she knows how to choose the right tools for the right job. She has a particular knack for designing robust datasets to power machine learning models—ensuring that the data is not just big, but also meaningful.

In her simulation work, Aimee builds models that don’t just reflect reality—they explore it. She leads every stage of development, from data ingestion and architecture to scenario generation and post-processing analysis, including sensitivity studies that surface critical drivers of system behavior.

When she’s not modeling dynamic systems, Aimee can often be found walking her pitbull, Auggie, along the beach, mixing cocktails with scientific precision, tending her tomatoes, and offering constructive feedback on her partner’s enthusiastic (but questionable) winemaking efforts.

Steven Berard

Project Leader / Mobile Development Specialist

Steven is an empathetic engineering leader with over a decade of experience in mobile application development, most recently leading teams of engineers at Tinder. He’s managed cross-functional projects, mentored engineers, and delivered impactful features across both iOS and Android apps. Earlier in his career, he helped create custom mobile apps for Nike, Adidas, and FX Networks, and co-founded Byteware, a mobile startup. He’s known for leading with clarity and care, and for creating cultures where people grow and deliver great work together.

Steven has also spent years teaching others to code—he taught iOS development through Lambda School, developed and delivered Android curriculum for the U.S. Navy, and co-created Fireside Swift, a podcast dedicated to helping developers learn iOS in an approachable, community-driven way.

Outside of work, Steven is addicted to deep, strategic board games—he owns over 200 of them—and loves bringing people together around a table to play, connect, and compete.
